Peter Facinelli recently did artwork with legos for Charity as this pretty cool event. Check it out:

The Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland is turning one and they celebrated with the unveiling of the Celebrity Mosaic Project, which benefits the Surfrider Foundation.

Some of the hottest celebrities including Al Pacino, Brooke Shields, Heidi Klum, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hoppus, Peter Facinelli, Steve Carell, Thomas Gibson, Tom DeLonge and Tony Hawk have built their own ocean-themed Lego mosaics. The mosaics will be auctioned off on Celebritybuzz.com, and all the proceeds will go to the Surfrider Foundation.

“We have no idea how much these mosaics are going to go for, I think the sky’s the limit,” said Beth Downing with Sea Life Aquarium. “This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this so it could be a little or it could be a lot, but of course we’re hoping to raise as much money as we can for Surfrider.”

The kids in attendance had a blast celebrating the Aquarium’s first birthday, exploring the Aquarium and looking at the celebrity mosaics.

There is a lot of news about Peter lately! Here is how his training for Eclipse is going.

When Peter Facinelli starts rehearsals for ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,’ he and Robert Pattinson and the rest of the gang will be spending a whole week on fight training.

“What happens in ‘Eclipse’ is Victoria comes back and she builds an army of new-born vampires, which are basically new-bitten vampires that are blood-crazed,” Peter tells ET. “She is trying to get this army to come after us so she can get to Bella, so we team up with the werewolves to attack these newly bitten vampires.”

Peter is leaving for rehearsals for the new movie today, and he says that there are two weeks of rehearsals before the fight training, so his wife Jennie Garth and his girls will probably come up to visit.

“I try not to go more than two weeks without seeing the kids,” he says. “That is my general rule. After two weeks, it gets to be too long and the kids are, ‘Who are you?’ I am on ‘Eclipse’ for three months. I will go back and forth. I am going to have them come up for the fight training so they can see what dad does.”

The 35-year-old actor says he considers the ‘Twilight’ cast his second family: “We are really like a family off and on set. I love each and every one of the cast members like they are my kids.”

As soon as ‘Eclipse’ wraps, Peter will start shooting the second season of his Showtime series, “Nurse Jackie.”

“What is fun for me is to play two characters that have the same occupation, but they are 180 degrees apart,” he tells ET.

“Nurse Jackie” airs Monday at 10:30 p.m. ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ opens in theaters on November 20, 2009.

Just a short little tidbit about Peter’s new ride.

TWILIGHT star PETER FACINELLI has a new ride – he has spent his vampire dollars on a sporty $50,000 (£33,300) Tesla S.

The actor, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series, is celebrating his success with his new motor – after craving the car for years.

He says, “It’s a coupe sedan. It’s all electric. It’s beautiful.”

But he faces a wait until he can actually pick up the keys – his ride won’t be ready until 2011.

He adds, “You have to pay half down and then wait for it to come out.”

New article with Peter Facinelli talking about Eclipse. Check it out:

Listen up, Twilight fans! Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Carlisle Cullen from the vampire series) has some information about the soon-to-be-filmed third installment of the movie franchise, Eclipse!

Facinelli tells OK! Magazine that the cast will begin rehearsals today, followed by a grueling physical regimen.

“We start rehearsals tomorrow. We have two weeks of rehearsal and then a week of fight training,” Facinelli reveals, noting that the entire cast will undergo the fight training, and with good reason.

“What happens in Eclipse is Victoria comes back and she builds an army of newborn vampires which are freshly bitten vampires which are basically blood-crazed and she’s trying to get this army to come after us so that she can get to Bella and so we team up with the werewolves to attack all these newly bitten vampires,” Facinelli notes.

And while the fight training will surely be arduous, Facinelli can’t wait to get in there and mix it up.

“Eclipse has more action in it and so I’m excited to get in there and have Carlisle roll his sleeves up a little bit and get into fight stuff,” he notes.

Sounds like Eclipse might be a smash-hit in more ways than one.

Peter really is so nice, his twitter proves it. Check out this interview with him:

MTV news recently talked with Peter Facinelli who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the “New Moon” and “Twilight” movies at a recent “Twi Con” event. He made a few comments about Rachelle Lefevre getting fired as Victoria for the “Eclipse” installment.

He said he was saddened to hear that the dates between her and Summit Entertainment didn’t workout, and that he loved Rachelle like a sister. However, he said the show must go on,and that he will embrace Bryce Dallas Howard who will be taking over the Role of Victoria in “Eclipse.”

He also hopes that all the “Twilight” fans embrace her as well.

Will you guys embrace the new Victoria ? Yes ? No ?

“Twilight Saga : Eclipse” starts shooting over in Vancouver, later on this month.

Following the recent dispute over Rachelle’s sad departure, Peter and Jackson have spoken up about her departure. Here is what they had to say:

A pair of high-profile stars who began the mega-franchise with Lefevre, however, did agree to speak with us on the record. And they were eager to say that they’ve spent the last few days sharing one key emotion with their fans: sadness.

“Who?” said Peter Facinelli, trying to force a grin when we brought up the headline-garnering story.

“I can say that I’m saddened that the dates didn’t work out,” the affable actor explained, referring to both Lefevre’s and Summit’s claims that a 10-day shooting overlap with another film was the reason she will be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in “Eclipse.”

Asked if he had been keeping up on the news, Jackson Rathbone replied, “I have, I have,” getting serious as he spoke about the subject. “You know, Rachelle’s a dear friend, and I’ll miss her terribly.”

The uncommonly public dispute has put the stars in an uncomfortable position, as they have to balance their words carefully about having a friend and co-worker fired while at the same time not badmouthing their boss.

I am still so upset that she has been recast. No offense to anyone, but I don’t think the movies will be the same. Anyways, to read the rest of the article, click here.

Twilight Examiner recently had an interview with Peter Facinelli, check it out:

AB: Rehearsals start in about a week, is that right?

PF: Tuesday.

AB: And are you looking forward to it?

PF: Oh yeah, I re-read Eclipse on my Hawaiian vacation, and then I read the script right after.

AB: How is it?

PF: It’s great. You know, it’s hard to cram a whole book into a movie and some of the details get lost in areas and in some areas they get heightened. The story’s the same, and I’m happy with it.

AB: What was your favorite part of Eclipse?

PF: I actually like that, in the book, a lot of the family members are talked about, and in the movie they’re in it a lot more. The books are all told from Bella’s perspective, so a lot of times, when she’s not in the scene and things are happening, you don’t actually get to see them, like the battle scene, for instance. In Eclipse when the whole family and the werewolves are fighting the newborn vampires, it’s talked about and through Edward you kind of get something, but in the movie you actually get to see it, you know, so I like that in the interpretations of the movies, it’s not always about Bella’s perspective. She isn’t always in the scene, and so that opens up the story a little bit. The Cullens are in it a lot more throughout.

AB: So, in that case are you doing stunt work?

PF: Yeah, we’re going up there and we’re going to have fight training. I’m excited about that. I mean, I’m a guy, so I like the action stuff, and I’m excited because it’s fun for me to have Carlisle be part of the action stuff – get in there and roll up his sleeves. For an actor, it’s fun, but for playing the character too there’s a whole other side.

AB: It’d be interesting to see … have they told you at all how they’re going to fight because in the mythological world, it’s kind of an attack and bite system between vampires and werewolves … is that what they’re going for?

PF: I have no idea. I’ll know more when I get up there, and I’m sure David [Slade] has a better idea of how we’re going to play all that. You know, Catherine [Hardwicke] had certain ideas of how we were going to play it. Chris had his ideas how we move. I know that when we did Twilight, you know Catherine actually had us do cat classes because she wanted us to be more cat-like and like the whole world of vampires more like a feline family, and werewolves more like the canine family, and so the way we moved was more cat-like. And then Chris [Weitz] came and he was like, you know what, I kind of want it to be not so feline/canine and their movements be a little more stealthy, so the way he showed vampires was a little bit different in New Moon. Like if I had to get from here to across the room, you know, he’ll have a camera on me and then whip-pan than then I’ll be over there. So, it’s not like all of a sudden, I’m doing some kind of weird Fab Four run to the other side of the room which is interesting. There’s a lot of in-camera to express the vampire movement, and I don’t know what David has in store for that. So, that’s the interesting thing about having different directors. They have different interpretations for the same story.

You have to give Peter Facinelli’s friends credit: They’re pretty good sports.

As reported yesterday, Twilight star Facinelli and his pal Rob DeFranco had a bet going as to whether Facinelli could amass 500,000 followers on his Twitter page by a certain date.

DeFranco lost the bet and, in accordance with the wager, he stuffed himself into a bikini and did a little dance at the busy intersection of Hollywood and Vine on Tuesday.

Check out the video evidence below. Bust a move, brother!
