Comic-Con Preps for Twilight with New Moon Preview

Twilight fans planning on being under the new moon of San Diego in July will be Twilight Saga happy as the official schedule for Comic-Con 2009 has been released, with a New Moon sneak peek already garnering headlines over the jam-packed 4-day schedule, which, beyond New Moon, will include previews and sneak peeks for projects like the highly anticipated The Vampire Diaries, Astro Boy, and Dollhouse. With the Twilight sequel New Moon locked into the schedule, Comic-Con will begin on July 22 with a special early presentation that will include pilot screenings for Human Target, V, and The Vampire Diaries at 6pm.

Twilight and New Moon fans looking to take in all of the action beyond the Twilight Saga can look at their calendars now since official Comic Con start date will be Thursday July 23rd and end on Sunday July 26th. Comic-Con has been largely known to attract a more male-centered audience but with the announcements of such previews as New Moon, comic book geeks will likely be forced to mingle with an influx of female Twilight fans, which may include Twilight moms as well. If Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are in attendance, which we can’t imagine they won’t be, comic book geeks may also have to draw upon their super powers to get through the Twilight crowd to see their favourite event.

The New Moon preview will also feature Astro Boy and Sorority Row in a one hour presentation that begins at 2:15pm in Hall H, which may see Twilight fans camped outside the door in Twilight Saga anticipation.
