About Me: My name is Angela and I am a 28 year old single working mom to a 2year old little boy. That sentence right there tells you how hective my life is. I am a huge sci fi geek and love all things supernatural. I think I do this because I prefer that world to reality. When i was younger I watched, Buffy, Roswell (still watch these dvds lol) and Angel. Of course of of these shows had there love stories and the perfect couple pairings vampire and human, alien and human and so on. As I got older and the shows disappeared I think maybe a part of me did as well. I am of course I read Harry Potter but its not the same as my vampire/alien stories. Needless to day I hadn’t read a series of books since I was 22.
One day a couple weeks ago end of June I believe I got the mail and there was Entertainment weekly and there it was. Edward and Bella, Vampire and Human. Well the article sucked me in. I dragged my son to the local Barnes and Noble and while he played with the train table there I started reading Twilight. I must say I am lucky we made it home at all I could have stayed in the childrens section with him and read the entire book but alas he wanted his nana so home we went.
I went home with 2 books that day Twilight and New Moon. I didn’t get Eclipse cause I honestly did not know if the books would be that great. Well lets just say I love my mom because I was taken in by these books for 2 days straight and she entertained my son. He of course got jealous at times but he got over it. This was my time. I hadn’t felt this way in years. I felt a part of me that was lost come alive again. It was Intoxicating.
I bought Eclipse a week later and again was swept away in waves of emotions that only these books could give me. Whenever somoeone in my family asked a question about the books all i told them was you have to read it to believe it. There really was no way to describe how they made me feel. I dreamt of these books. I dreamt of different outcomes and endings.
I wish I could say that I fell in love with Edward but I didn’t. I was in love with the idea of someone like him being real but not him. He was in my eyes the most perfect vampire I could have ever dreamed up and good for Bella I thought. I could only wish my younger years were so exciting and full of passion which is another reason I love the saga. Passion is not something one can write easily but Stephenie wrote this series and she had me in tears when Edward walked away from Bella in New Moon. I have never once cried over a book but because of the imagery in my head it was like watching the movie.
This site was born because I could not just sit and wait for Breaking Dawn plain and simple. It lives because the saga awoke something inside me that was buried deep and refuses to be put back to sleep. I can only thank Stephenie Meyer for her brilliant mind and dangerously passionate imagination.
